Thoughts: As an avid Kim Harrington fan I was excited to read her middle grade mystery series.  The first book was so awesome it had me laughing at many points and I just thought the whole thing was really entertaining.
The story was really cool.  The mystery was interesting and it was something a little different.  I say that because most of the time I’m reading murder mysteries.  Anyway, this mystery was quite refreshing and while I predicted it my 12 year old self would have greatly appreciated it.

Darcy and Norah were so awesome.  I feel like I could relate to both of them because they both had personality traits that I also had.  Norah was worrisome about getting good grades but a really nice person while Darcy had this wild streak but was good at heart.

Overall, I loved Partners in Crime and I am eagerly anticipating the next book in the series.
