Thoughts: I had been wanting to read this book for so long and now that I have finished it, I can’t believe I didn’t read it sooner. The Restorer is so amazing!
As soon as I started the book I got sucked into the story straight away the mystery was incredibly intriguing and the ghosts were so creepy. The book had this overall spooky feeling and even in broad daylight as I was reading this I was getting a little nervous.
The writing style is really good. Amanda Stevens has this really poetic, descriptive writing style and I really loved it because it added so much to the atmosphere of the book.
I felt the mystery was really good. I had my suspicions about who it was and while it was one of the people I’d guessed, it wasn’t the only person I’d been questioning. So I thought that was awesome.
I really liked that there were some parts of the story that were left unresolved as they were set up for the series and all of those things were incredibly intriguing as well. They’ve definitely gotten me excited for the next book.
Overall, I really loved The Restorer and think it was amazing. I’m really glad that I have the second book already so I can delve straight into it.
