So we didn't end up doing a joint review this month. Mostly because I was too busy to actually read The Hollow and you all voted and chose Fire by Kristin Cashore to be our book for this month. So expect joint reviews of both books this month. I will definitely get to reading both. And while we're on the subject you can vote for what we should read in December now. So just go ahead and vote.
We didn't have any contests last month but stay tuned for November because I believe we have at least two (possibly three) giveaways lined up for this month.
Another accomplishment for October was that we reached 300 followers. Which is super awesome. Seeing as how we had a giveaway celebration for 250 followers we're thinking that once we reach 350 followers we'll do another celebration.
As far as content on the blog, as of either this month or next depending on time you can expect to see reviews of a short story anthology and a book written by a New Zealander every month. So we'll have a few ongoing monthly posts which you can look out for.
In other news, Scarlett has taken over with reviewing more than she used to so you can expect lots and lots of content from both of us. Also look for some changes to the blog lookwise. Over the next couple of months we'll be doing some major overhauling in some aspects.
This month is a busy one for me, firstly I have decided to take part in NaNoWriMo so this month I will be super busy trying to write a novel in a month. I keep telling myself how hard can it be...but we'll see. If you wanna check out my progress my username is rebecca.abey so check it out if you're doing NaNoWriMo too.
Lastly, Amber from The Rabbit Hole is having a YA Love Triangle Week this week and I am taking part along with heaps of other awesome bloggers. I will be posting on The Hunger Games with Faye from Ramblings of a Teenage Bookworm. Faye is Team Peeta and I am Team Gale. So you should definitely check out that post which goes up on Tuesday and check out all the other posts and vote for your favourite group.
I think thats about all I have to say so have a great November everyone!
