June Wrap-Up

The first half of the year is over and I have read a total of 65  books so far.  I'm hoping to read about 250 so I've got a bit of a way to go.

As far as June goes I read a total of 13 books and received a total of 2 books.  So when it comes to reducing my tbr pile I'm doing alright.  I'd like to get the majority of my tbr pile read over the next half of the year though so we'll see how we go.

I had a heap of fun with June.  I was also super busy with exams but just after my exams I took part in Kristen's read-a-thon and got a lot read through that.

The books I read in June were:

Guardian of the Dead by Karen Healey
Flatland: A Romance of Many Dimensions by Edwin A. Abbott
Deathnote Volume 4: Love by Tsugumi Ohba
Nightlight by The Harvard Lampoon
Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins
Tyger Tyger by Kersten Hamilton
The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman
The Mermaid's Mirror by C.K Madigan
The Restaurant at the End of the Universe by Douglas Adams
Killer by Sara Shepard
Dead is Just a Rumour by Marlene Perez
Losing It by Sandy McKay
Fallen by Lauren Kate

My favourite of these would have to be Killer by Sara Shepard.

Also, this month I am taking part in Jo at Once Upon a Bookcase's Body Image and Self Perception Month so look out for some posts concerning those issues later on in the month.  For more information head over to Jo's website here!

As far as changes go for this month.  I will be putting up a poll each month with a list of ten books that are in my tbr pile and you can choose which one you would really like me to read and review for that month.  I think by doing this it will urge me to read some of the books that I'm not 100% sure about.

Also, Scarlett will be away on holiday at the start of this month so she won't be posting until later on in the month.

Lastly, I have a twitter now. So if you wanna follow me on twitter my username is RebeccaReads3 and basically, if you follow me I'll definitely follow you back. I'm new to this twitter thing so yeah.

I think thats about all I have to say for June, welcome to July and I shall be heading off for today is my birthday.
