Everything to do with books is first and foremost a blog full of book reviews. We are not genre specific and while it does seem like it we are not limited to just YA books. Occasionally we will have other posts about bookish things; we do have many features, each one will have a brief explanation below. The blog was created in March 2009 and continues to grow every day. Originally it was started by Rebecca but then in February 2010 Scarlett became a contributor, and then in October 2010 she became a partner. As we are both proud New Zealander's we like to showcase a lot of New Zealand books by New Zealand authors.
Some of the features you will see that aren't reviews are:
In My Mailbox - Which is hosted by The Story Siren so for more information go to her page here.
Reading on Film - This is a feature that happens once in a while when we come across a book that has been made into a movie. If we have read and/or reviewed a book that has been made into a movie we will feature it on Reading on Film and just talk about the book compared to the movie.
Kiwi Spotlight – This feature will be mentioned whenever we review a book by a New Zealand author.
Passing on for Review – A monthly feature where we pass on any review books we have received that we feel would be better off in the hands of someone else to review for whatever reason.
About the Reviews
All reviews follow similar formats. There are a couple of things on Rebecca's reviews that differ from Scarlett's. Here is a brief overview of what we put in our reviews:

Series: Featured if the book is part of a series and if so, where and in what series.
First Line: A little teaser taken from the book.
Summary: A little bit about what the book is about.
Review: Our thoughts on the book.
Source: Where the book came from.
Rebecca is a total geek, majoring in statistics and philosophy at university. While she does indeed love maths she still loves reading and obsesses about books to the point where she had to make a blog about it. As well as reading and writing, Rebecca's interests include mathematics, computers especially computer games, and food. Rebecca is a huge mystery fan and loves watching tv shows such as Psych, Monk and Bones.
Scarlett is a huge nerd, who just finished studying computer science and is now one of those people you hire to fix your computers. Scarlett is a huge science fiction fan and her favourite tv shows include Star Trek, Doctor Who and Stargate. When not reading or watching dvds Scarlett loves music and plays guitar and keyboard and considers herself a decent singer. As of December 2009 Scarlett married the love of her life and is incredibly happy.
