Review: I've seen a lot of rave reviews about The Hunger Games and so I kept thinking well, I don't know if I'd like it. Every review I've read for The Hunger Games the person loved it, maybe I'll be the one person to hate it. But I eventually caved and read The Hunger Games.
I'm quite glad I did too.
Yep I'm jumping on the bandwagon and I say that The Hunger Games is a great read.  Because it is really interesting, the characters are all really interesting.
At first, I found it to be a little slow but then when the games started I was hooked.  I did not want to put it down. I just had to finish reading it.
Seriously, if you have not read The Hunger Games I suggest you do. I found myself flying through it and there were parts when I was commenting out loud about it.
I loved 1984 by George Orwell and I thought The Hunger Games had some similar elements with 1984.
At the end of the day The Hunger Games is an amazing read that you should not miss.
I also noticed a lot of Team Peeta, Team Gale things around and well I don't usually state my opinions on the matter but I'll make an exception in this case to say right now I'm rooting for Gale.  Yep, not too sure why but yeah.

  1. I just read it too and had the same reaction. I was afraid that I would hate it since it was so very hyped. I thin the Team Peeta/Team Gale will start becoming more obvious after reading Catching Fire. I'm leaning Team Peeta after Hunger Games, but I don't know why either.

  2. I just read another review that has jumped on the band wagon also. I haven't read it due to the hype etc but I think I am going to read this one soon now.
