New Zealand Fiction

Anything written by an author from New Zealand and considered to be 'New Zealand Fiction' that I have read and reviewed will be listed here.

  1. What do you recommend from this list? Anything utterly compelling?
    My preference is usually for literary compelling fiction and my favourite NZ book so far is James George's 'Hummingbird' and nonfiction Michael King's excellent 'Wrestling with the Angel' his biography of Janet Frame.
    I also have a wonderful collection of short stories by Frank Sargeson, which I purposely don't want to finish, they are a real delight.
