In My Mailbox (19)

In My Mailbox (19)

In my Mailbox was created by The Story Siren.

This week I didn't get any books in the mail. I did get one book from the library.

Swoon by Nina Malkin

In rural Connecticut, when seventeen-year-old Dice tries to exorcise a seventeenth-century man who is possessing her cousin Pen, she inadvertently makes him corporeal--and irresistible.

This week I have been going through a sort of reading slump where I'm just not in the mood to read any books. I started a few books this week but ended up returning a huge heap to the library because I just haven't felt like reading them. Lets just hope that I enjoy reading Swoon.

  1. I want to read this one too, but I'm banning myself from the library for anything other than audiobooks. Seriously, I have enough books at home to last me FOREVER!

  8. This looks like a good read - hope you enjoy it. I think we all go through reading slumps and one time or another. We read so many books that I think our brains just need a rest sometimes. I'm sure it will pick up again soon :) Thanks for coming by my blog today, it's always nice to hear from other bloggers!

  12. Hi Rebecca,

I have gone through periods where I have so much going on, a lot book-related, yet I can't focus on reading. The fazes pass. Those times are good times to blog hop.

    Thanks for coming by.

  21. I got "Swoon" last week. Still haven't started it. But it's on the pile.

Slumps happen. Take the time to recharge the batteries. :D

  22. Swoon sounds good!

I just got out of a reading slump. Actually, I have had a few over the last month. I call it "reader's block". I just read two books that pulled me out of it.

I hope Swoon is just the medicine to cure the ails :)
